New Form I-9 Effective Immediately

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) issued a new edition of the Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification. The new version contains a revision date, which can be found on the lower right hand corner of the form, of 08/07/2009.  The new form also has an expiration date in the upper right hand corner which is now 08/31/2012.  All hiring units at Penn State should begin using the new form as soon as possible. 

Competencies for Job Classification

Over the next few years, all jobs at Penn State will be transitioned into the Competencies program and the SPEC Program will be phased out.
